ONA EDM in the EMO 2007
The first of the two projects is the market launch of a new range of machines of EDM wire of ultra-fast Court; so-called Ona AX. As main feature of this new range of machines include the incorporation of the new generator of high-powered Ona easycut, capable of reaching the highest possible cutting in EDM speed by wire (500 mm2/minute) without detriment to accuracy and eliminating the risk of electrolysis to 100 per cent during the cutting process.
Also, the Ona AX models include the new CNC Ona-W64 with ability to simultaneously control up to 6 axes, allowing the machine incorporating a rotary axis (eje-B) completely controlled by the CNC. This offers the possibility of cutting forms of great complexity to the Ona AX machine in an only mooring.
Attendees to the EMO can see two of the four models of that includes the Ona AX family, of particular interest is the presence of the model AX10, the largest of the range and in turn the machine of wire EDM by the world's largest wire, with a capacity to load parts of up to 10 tons in weight and a few tours in the X-Y-Z axes of 1500 x 1000 x 600 mm. In addition, the AX model has some extensive tours in the axes U and V that allow you to obtain a maximum angle of tapered cut of ±30 ° at 400 mm in height (±20 ° 600 mm in height).
New range of machines for wire EDM by penetration ONA NX series with modularizado design
The second project which Ona has culminated this year, is the new modular design with ONA EDM machines count NX series of large dimensions. Thanks to a modular and versatile design, Ona will offer each customer the possibility of being able to configure your own machine with unprecedented flexibility. The client can configure your machine based on multiple options of tours X-Y-Z, dimensions of the tank's work, number of heads, etc.
Practically, each customer can have a special machine to measure without having to pay extra for it and, in addition, with a similar to a standard machine delivery time. Ona NX series machines used modules prefabricated for the various forces that shape the axes X-Y-Z, is dramatically reducing the time of assembling of machines. Thanks to this project ONA expects to increase its market share in the niche of machines of large size, which is already a world leader.
The main features of this range of machines include:
-Multiple combinations for X-and-Z: tours
-Axis X: 1500, 2000 or 3000 mm.
-Axis Y: 750, 1000 or 1500 mm.
-Axis Z: 650, 800 or 1000 mm.
-One or two heads commanded by CNC independent, and can machining is regardless two tracks at the same time on a piece of great size.
-Mechanical structure of high stiffness made of mehanite cast. The work table is fixed, with carrying capacity of parts with a maximum weight of up to 15,000 kg.
