The Centre of NMV5000DCG 5-axis vertical machining, endowed with the DCG technology and the new conversational MAPPS III, which includes function of prior checking and control which was successfully introduced in the autumn of 2006, now has an older brother, NMV8000DCG machining center. Created in a similar manner, with Box-in-Box construction, cantilever zero and the DCG, the NMV8000DCG technology also it is equipped with direct engines in the B and C axes and consists of a bed of very rigid construction. Pieces up to 600 kg at his table, 800 mm diameter can be loaded. It also has a rapid advance of 1,200 mm on the x-axis, 900 mm in the axis and and 610 mm in the axis Z. can machining parts up to a diameter of 1000 mm and 500 mm in height. The user can also choose between tools type BT-40 (HSK-A63) and BT-50.

The launch of Mori Seiki DCG technology with a total of 3 direct engines in the A and B axes allows to perform in the NMH10000DCG a perfect 5-axis machining. Two of the direct engines have been incorporated into the turntable (A. axis) with a variant of rotation of 150 degrees (axis B 360 °). The B axis runs through a direct driver so that a rigid 1,000 x 1,000 mm table can be loaded with up to 2500 kg, and with speed and accuracy of indexing. The Box-in-Box construction with DCG technology and with the additional factor that in 5-axis table only moves the Z axis, that the NMH10000DCG is very compact, is not only an advantage (of approximately 3,400 mm wide)(, without the storage of tools), but that this concept of construction offers excellent accuracy in comparison with other models of the same category. With 5 axes NMH10000DCG horizontal machining center can mechanise pieces with a diameter of 1,500 mm and a height of 1300 mm.
