The Hunter ET system measures key climatic conditions to calculate evapotranspiration (ET) local factors. ET measured water loss from the surface of the soil by evaporation and loss of moisture from the plants by perspiration. ET system calculates irrigation schedules to replace only the water that is really required for every plant and every soil conditions. The WiltGard Sensor may intervene to enable irrigation of protection when extreme conditions threaten vegetation. The result is a great saving in water, areas of healthy roots and a longer service life of the plant.
