The generation of plaquitas of Sandvik Coromant reaches the following phase with the introduction of two new qualities K for milling. GC1020 and GC3220 are the last innovations to obtain upper results in this competitive area.
After the recent introduction of the last advances in the milling of steel, the area of smelting will see again promoted with the improvement of the tenacity and the resistance to the wear with two extremely versatile qualities, designed to realise the operations miscellaneous that they are characteristic in the area of the milling of smelting.
With the GC1020, Sandvik Coromant enters an excellent quality for all type of applications, as first election in the milling of smelting nodular, and in all the operations of milling with refrigerante. A strong coating of PVD guarantees some speeds of high cutting and a reduced wear, and with excellent result in unstable conditions, is at present the first election for the strawberry CoroMill 390.
With the layer of coating thicker for a plaquita of milling, the GC3220 offers big improvements regarding length and resistance to the wear, optimised for the mechanised in dry of grey smelting. Designed to stand out in the milling in square and planned, especially with big diameters, GC3220 offers a mechanised reliable and without problems.
These two qualities incorporate to the already existent geometries and are available in a wide selection of plaquitas for the family CoroMill with seen to increase the productivity in the areas of milling of smelting.
