Machining center 12 K of Chiron, company marketed by machinery Eurotec, S.A., very robust construction has been designed with most advanced calculation methods. An extreme rigidity machining center has developed together with bench mineral molding machine.
It is a powerful machine. Chip to chip times are 1.9 s available speeds rapidly up to 90 m/min and acceleration of shafts up to 2 g. incorporates integrated in version "linear speed" water cooling system and heat sources are isolated from the structure of the machine. Thus thermal stability is obtained excellent and high, constant accuracy during production service. 12 K series offers great conditions for mechanization grubbing-up of shavings from a wide range of pieces of work: for the automobile sector in the mechanization of oil sumps of direction, compressors of air conditioning, pumps, parts of chassis, etc.
As technical data, the 12 K boasts some tours of displacement X-Y-Z of 550-320-360 mm. Rapid advances are up to 90 m/min and the spindle rotational speeds up to 15,000 rpm.
It accepts up to 64 tools in the store with a 0.9 s. tool change time
