Desalinators: to produce fresh water with less than 5 parts per million of dissolved solids
The Desalinators are designed to produce a fresh water with less than 5 parts per million of dissolved from sea water solids. This hot water coming from the engine cooling circuit must be supplied them, drive motor or generator.
Operation: This principle is based on the distillation by vacuum: sea water is boiled at low temperature under vacuum to create steam, it passes through a demister of monel, where any drop of water or foreign particles, leaving only pure steam, which will be which go to the section of condensation is eliminated.
The food and the level of salt water are controlled within the generator by automatic mechanisms, regulated in the factory, and need not therefore be adjusted by the operator. The excess of salt water or brine is continuously extracted from the team and discharged by the ship's side.
Conducted once the boot process is not necessary to make any kind of adjustment on the computer, because the operation of the generator is fully automatic, starting the production of fresh water minutes later. This is extracted from the evaporator as soon occurs, and pumped to the tank's store, using a pump designed to operate 24 hours.
Materials: The use of non-ferrous materials, as well as pieces that do not go coated inside allow producing an always clean and fresh water, because of its softness, ideal for main engine cooling systems, either for drinking, showering, cooking and all sorts of personal use.
