Stuffings Pajariel premières new installations that will allow him triplicar his production

The new installations of Stuffed Pajariel, inaugurated the past 25 November, have a surface built of 8.500 square metres and are divided in four big areas: a space devoted to the manufacturing of baked, another to stuffings, an area of wash and another zone of packaging. This new building will devote to the production of stuffings so much baked –botillo, bacon and lacón– like cured –chorizo, lomo and salchichó–-. Whereas the current dependencies will allocate to the manufacturing of cecina and salazones of long length like hams and palettes.
The factory will boost the creation of employment in the zone, when duplicating the number of employees when happening of the 50 current to the more than 100 when it was to full performance; and with this will contribute to the fixation of population in the half rural of the surroundings. Besides these modern installations will allow to increase the production of this industry cárnica what will suppose that triplique the consumption of prime matters to graziers. The company will happen to consume 840 tonnes to the year of meat of swine to 2.400; and of 360 tonnes to the year of bovine, to more 1.000 tonnes each anualidad.
The increase of the prime matters repercutirá in the increase of product under the Geographic Indications Protected 'Cecina de León' and 'Botillo of the Bierzo'. Pajariel Marked, the past year, 12.360 pieces of cecina under the figure of quality, what represents 14% of the total. With the new installations, this company triplicará the number of marked pieces contributing of direct way to the growth of the own Geographic Indication Protected. Regarding the production of botillos, this company elaborated in 2010 more than 40.000 units –15% of the botillos that commercialised under the figure of quality–. With this new factory foresees an increase of production protected under teachs it of 10%, an increase that repercutirá in the Geographic Indication Protected.
The Government of Castile and Leon has supported the construction of these installations. The Council of Agriculture and Ganadería has conceded a help of more than 2 million euros. In total, the company has invested 15 million euros.
