The meat proceeds of animals bred in the Principado of Asturias with less than 18 months of age of the Asturian “races of the Valleys” and “Asturian of the Mountain”.
The cows base his feeding in the natural pastures and the terneros in the maternal milk, having to fulfil a minimum period of natural lactation of five months. Once destetados feed by means of pasture and forraje pertinent of the plots of the ecological exploitation, suplementando the ration in lower proportion with cereals and leguminosas of ecological crop.
