Trends in the injection moulding sector
During the familiar summer Forum organized by Krauss Maffei at their facilities in Munich, interesting presentations on new trends in the sector of the transformation could be heard. We focus here on the injection.
Now, consider the set of the manufacturing process has a future, as evidenced by the production of large external pieces of cars with modern techniques of colored. To obtain a surface free of defects and aesthetic pieces it is absolutely necessary to improve the development of the production from the manufacture of the basic mixture and transporting the material to the finished molded piece. One of the new most innovative technologies of the molding by injection of recent years is the technology of multiple colors or components, known in the background already since the 1960s. However, this possibility of rationalization is used only for some years. Typical applications along with the proven rear headlights of multiple colors are levers with bright outer layer and reinforced basic material of glass fibres, closures threaded with seal, handles with parts of elastomer in good touch, etc.
Elimination of some phases of the process
