KraussMaffei (commercial Coscollola) in Plast 2009
Some of the protagonists of the stand will be the trends and innovations of the extruded tubes, developments in the manufacture of profiles and the future of the extrusion with foam physicist. Visitors can learn more about the latest news in these fields of application, the concept of engineering of double screw extrusion machines and standard machines for the production of plates, films and panels for roofs.
It will also announce the reaction process: painted in mold of LFI parts integrated into production.
Painted in mold, an interesting novelty
This new process of painted in mold, supplied by Krauss Maffei to produce covers of engines for tractors, is already in production. Covers, made of fiber reinforced PUR in a process of LFI, provide the high-gloss surface finish in the piece.
The tests of durability, 12,000 hours in agricultural operations, have shown that covers engines are sturdy and long lasting. They can withstand temperatures up to 100 ° C and shows excellent mechanical properties. The new production process has other advantages, for example, you get an exact color of the engine and the injected front covers as well as the possibility of integrating metal inserts in production processes. In addition, the color change is extremely simple, allowing for great versatility of product.
Krauss Maffei show a sample of tractor engine cover with his innovative technique in the stand at the fair and it will expand any information about other developments in technology in reaction to the areas of automotive, insulation, electrical appliances and tools requested by visitors.
New series AX, the performance of the electric at a cheaper price
On the other hand, also the energy savings will be protagonist in the Italian fair. Thanks to the new fully electric series AX can improve energy efficiency by 60% and achieve a 25 per cent less of occupied space. In a closed and totally automated production cell, the new series of injectors may help reduce costs of manufacturing in standard applications. The fully electric machines of 500 to 3,500 kN combine proven mechanics of the closing of knee with ease of use for the operator. The competitive pricing policy and short installation times for the AX series will provide also further reductions of the total costs to the user. This family of injectors increases the catalogue of machines of the company, adding fully electric machines at more reasonable prices for standard applications.
In the 2009 Plast, a fuel transfer AX 100-1380 total linear robot LRX 50 fully integrated manufacture strips linking of PA 66 for electrical systems in the automotive industry with a cycle of just 11 seconds.
