Snooping (monitoring) of IGMP, for filtering wireless packets multicast
The RLX-IHW-66 is equipped with Snooping Protocol for management of groups of Internet (IGMP) based on RF, a tool that enables filtration multicast for wireless level, so the radio which transmits data from the producer (such as a block of distributed I/o) is able to identify the consumer (IE)(, a PLC) and transmit the data of the producer directly to the consumer, as opposed to a multicast information to the wireless network. Since the RLX-IHW-66 sends data directly to each consumer, it is able to confirm the reception of the data and relay the data if necessary. The IGMP based on RF prevents congestion through the air by sending messages only to where they have to go and increases reliability by confirming the receipt of the data.
