1. Introduction

He is needed to reconstruct 3D models from sketches made by the designer of industrial products during the conceptual design phase. The intention of the designer can be captured using perceptual signals that studies the psychology of perception. Perceptual signals are formulated in algorithmic terms through regularities.

The regularities are nothing more than certain "rules" that humans detected in the flat image, and that it helps them to interpret and mentally rebuild the model. Including the best known may be the parallelism and flatness of symmetry and faces. Some of these regularities are too complex to be detected directly in the image of starting. Why are simple perceptual signals. An important, not too regularly studied in the field of three-dimensional reconstruction is the oblique facial symmetry, which aims to detect conditions of symmetry of faces of the intended individuals to rebuild.

2 Results and discussion

All cylindrical symmetric object has its deformed symmetry, so that their symmetrical faces will be facial symmetry oblique. Detect the oblique axes and undo the function of axial tilt can help us to make the process of reconstruction.

From this point of view, there is only a [1] work that has addressed the problem, and it has done by means of a very simplified technique.

This paper explores techniques for obtaining possible axis of oblique symmetry in linear drawings, of which include the work [2] and [3]. We have developed the techniques for searching for axis and methods appropriate to undo the obliquity associated with these axes. Its implementation is presented in a computer application of three-dimensional reconstruction of poliédricos objects.

3 Findings

The implementation of this new objective method for the detection of the regularity and its weighting within the function to its optimization reconstruction has offered good results and has improved the results in the reconstruction of 3D models.

As future work we hope to complete this quest for axes and with them find planes of symmetry in the pieces, which we would reduce the computational cost and we would offer more accurate models.
