1. Introduction

Decision support systems are computer systems that assist in the task of taking decisions in environments where the volume of information is considerable. The effect on processes is difficult to quantify.

It has been a result of the increase in technology present in our society, which has emerged the need to control the information stop to make better decisions more quickly. In order to streamline and systematize the decisions to take it is necessary to provide a structure to the questions that have to be decided.

Planning process means the Act of preparing instructions for detailed operations to convert engineering design in a final piece. The appearance of the CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) systems dating from the beginning of the 1980s and they set off in order to bridge the gap between the CAD and CAM systems.

The objective of this paper is to create a low decision support system in CAPP approach that considers the technological variables (characterization of the pieces and the resource parameters) to determine the best routes in the process of stamping.

2 Experimental

Experimental work has focused on the process of stamping, studying the tasks, the parts and resources in a single type of operation.

4 Conclusions

The philosophy that has been pursued is the same as the CAPP approach, limiting the possible routes of manufacture to the technological parameters set by the raw material used and the resources used in such environment.

The establishment of a framework decision has clear increased the time of determination of the alternatives of production and the tools to use for each resource. At the same time, the decision-making system has systematized by which thing is allowed to include experimentation with scheduling of processes within the environment of an information system.
