Carl Zeiss IMT, sponsor of the 'V International Congress of the Society of Engineering of Manufacture'

Carl Zeiss IMT has sponsored the 'V International Congress of the Society of Engineering of Manufacture'. An event of professional character that has served of stage to present and argue the advances in the field of the Engineering of Manufacture.

This fifth edition of the Congress, has had the intervention of the doctor Dietrich Imkamp, boss of product of visual equipment Zeiss, who offered a report on new tendencies in metrology, under the title 'Looking at the future of manufacturing metrology: The VDI/VDE roadmap manufacturing metrology 2020'. The thematic of this meeting bianual versó around different specialitys: processes of mould manufacturing, processes of deformation, processes of mechanised or industrial metrology, between others. This last supposes a strategic field where Zeiss has a long path and wide range of skilled products (Metrotom, Volumax, Airsaver, Falconeye…).

The Congress Mesic 2013 has fulfilled, a year more, with the expectations of the professionals, researchers and educational participants; creating forums of exchange of experience inside this professional field and serving of reference for the Engineering of Manufacture.
