The instrument of measurement of the humidity in materials testo 616 and the probe for the testo 635 are novelty regarding the determination of the content of water in percentage in weight in wood and materialss for the construction.

The special sensor allows the fast measurement in wood and materialss thanks to his design adapted to effect the optimum pressesure without damaging the material. Thanks to the function Hold/Máx/Mín and the visualizador lit, achieves an easy handle of the instrument.

The instrument has memorised the characteristics of: solado of cement, solado of anhidrita, concrete, solid brick, insulating brick, brick silicocalcáreo, cellular concrete and several types of wood like soft wood (pícea, larch, cerezo, pine, poplar, meranti), hard wood (there is, oak, arce, ash, fir of Douglas, walnut, birch) and agglomerated. These characteristics determined in cooperation with an important institute of materials of construction.

The testo 616 determines the humidity in materials of construction of solados and other pavings. The detection of damages in walls or in basements (p.ej. Damages in the cables) effects without complication any.

The utilisation of the testo 616 for the detection of humidity allows to extract conclusions about the stability of the material of construction (concrete, bricks, wood).

The probe of humidity in materials connects to the professional thermohygrometer testo 635 and realizar the same functions that the testo 616.
