Measuring equipment of Hommel-Etamic F435 and Jenoptik Industrial metrology division F455 form are capable of measuring geometric tolerances in a fully automatic way. With a unique locking piece, it is possible to also measure surface roughness and righteousness.

The compact design of this new generation offers unmatched technological improvements that help achieve higher levels of productivity, functionality and use.

The technological improvement of Hommel-Etamic F435 and F455 systems includes a table of rotation of air bearings. This ensures the reproducibility of very tight tolerances for a long period of time. Automatic workpiece centering and the level ensures greater possible precision over the entire measuring range. The Z and R axes are equipped with high precision guides, combined with special drive systems that increase the accuracy and speed considerably.

The feeler arm, incorporates a module CNC rotation and inclination that enables axial and radial measurements in a fully automatic way, and without interruption. Equipped with a tilt axis (90 °) and rotation (270 °) motor individually allow probe access hard-to-reach measurement positions. The probe is addressable, with variable sensitivity in both directions.

A unique innovation of the new design of probe consists of the ability to perform measurements of roughness and waviness, in addition to measurements of tolerance of form and position, with a unique parameterization.

Turbo Form assessment program allows you to additionally improve the productivity. The functional graphical user interface ensures easy operation, even in the case of complex measuring tasks. In addition to evaluate and present the parameters of shape and position, the program also includes the particularity of assessing the typical parameters of roughness and undulation. To track results and statistical analysis (SPC), the results can be exported real-time program qs-STAT.

Optionally and module of evaluation of crankshaft axis or trees together contact surfaces is available as a standard package, of sealing (commonly called Twist or Lead measurement) of Daimler MBN-31007-07 second generation standard.
