Infrared thermometers: images from a digital camera and the comfort of aiming and firing of an infrared thermometer

The visual infrared VT02 Fluke thermometer bridges the gap between these two alternatives, for cases in which a punctual temperature reading is not enough and a high-resolution thermal imaging camera is above what you really need. A single computer combines information from a camera thermal imaging, the images from a digital camera and the comfort of aiming and firing of an infrared thermometer.
Inspections for electrical, industrial, automotive and HVAC/R applications is much faster with VT02 than with an infrared thermometer, which would require several readings, as well as the manual registration of the results. The VT02 detects problems instantly thanks to the fusion of thermal and real images. You can display and save images as Visual full, complete infrared, or three modes of fusion (a 25, 50 and 75%). With markers, you can tell items cold and hot; the red boxes for hot spots and blue for cold. The focal point provides the temperature reading. Images are stored on the card micro-SD, which eliminates the need to write down the readings by hand.
