Vibrational circular Espectropolarimetros: for the infrared region

Picture of Vibrational circular Espectropolarimetros
Analysis of the molecular structure and the orientation of its functional groups is necessary for the determination of the molecular conformation of Chiral compounds. This type of information is obtained easily thanks to the spectra of vibrational Circular Dichroism (VCD: Vibrational Circular Dichroism) which provide information in the infrared region. The fingerprint area provides essential data at the time of the conformational determination of some optically active molecules.

Jasco develops its spectrometer of vibrational circular dichroism FVS-6000 model with an advanced optical design. This team not only allows you to easily obtain VCD spectra, but it also allows measurements, extending the range of 750 to 4000 cm-1. This form can be a complete characterization of the molecular structure of a chiral compound.

The data monitoring is done through Spectra Manager software Jasco, which allows to get IR spectra and VCD in a same window.
