Agreement to promote the promotion of the International Fair of the Piece of furniture

The Employers' association of the Industries of the Piece of furniture, Carpentry and Affine of the Community of Madrid, Afamid, and Ifema have reached an agreement of collaboration with reason of the next announcement of the International Fair of the Piece of furniture of Madrid, that will celebrate the between the days 18 to 21 April 2012.

The agreement has the aim to promote the promotion of the fair between the companies associated to Afamid and boost his participation in this living room that premières a format adapted to the current needs of the sector and centred fully in the commercial action. No in vain, Madrid represents 25% of the national turnover of the trade of the piece of furniture that, according to data of 2010, reached a total value of 5.500 million euros.

Besides, the International Fair of the Piece of furniture of Madrid is working in presenting an announcement of national coverage in which the sector and his products will be the big and only leading. The new project of the International Fair of the Piece of furniture of Madrid, will be led by the director of Contests of Ifema, Marta Peraza, with a wide path and experience in the organisation and set up of professional fairs of different sectors.
