Saver closed its sixth edition with a high rating by exhibitors

Over its four days Saver received more than 5,300 visitors whose profile responded to the expectations of business of the hundreds of participating companies, they maintained a dynamism in its business activity. A range of high level of representation, with first national firms and foreign, that have chosen once again the pageant as a launching pad for their news. This helped to consolidate Saver, in its sixth edition, as the great fair of the Spanish Garden, an appointment required for professionals, as well as the world of gardening enthusiasts, to which Hall devoted the last day. Similarly, the consolidation of the Hall is evident in the interest in the media, and more than 100 journalists who approached the details of this latest edition.
As to the origin of visitors we can say that he was very divided between provinces of the country, while communities which recorded higher indices were Madrid, with more than 50%, followed mainly from Catalonia, Castile - La Mancha, Spain and Galicia. There were also international visitors from 16 countries, among which stand out for their greater representation, Portugal, France and Peru.
Landscape and sustainability
The Sixth Edition also featured the particularity of a parallel vocational programme focused on two topics do not only gain in relevance within the sector, such as the respect for the environment and proper management of the urban landscape. In this way and through the slogan 'Landscape and sustainability', carried out a series of technical seminars led by experts from first line in areas such as: 'Landscape, built with sustainability', organized by the Spanish Association of landscape architects; 'The security in the machines for gardening and urban areas from the perspective of the user', and 'Current management of the urban landscape', in charge of the Spanish Association of parks and public gardens (AEPJP), offered by Ansemat, which recorded a high assistance with around 500 participants.

One of the most interesting proposals in this edition of Saver was the holding, in cooperation with the Spanish Association of landscape, of the first national contest of sustainable garden. During the three days of the fair, attendees were able to enjoy the winning project, which was intended to convey a vindication of the urban balconies as an example of sustainability for their contribution to the improvement of environmental and landscape quality and contribution to the common welfare. Authors: Monica battle, Daniel Palacios and Kyriaki Ilousi, Oihana Kerexeta Anna Mayoral, proposed a work which brought rationality in the employment and economy of natural resources with an improvement in the environmental and landscape quality, a great viability and an attractive and characteristic of an urban environment design.
The most innovative proposals
The professionals had the opportunity to know the main contributions of the sector with the staging of the gallery for innovation, which brought together almost thirty of equipment, machines and products of last generation, whose presence in the market represents an advance in the field of security, energy saving, ergonomics, profitability, quality and innovation, what consolidates its position you as one of the most complete trade fair and turns him into an accredited showcase of the latest developments in the sector. With this initiative Ifema aims to boost research and development of efficient and technologically leading products.
This has contributed to confirm to Saver as a fair, a significant event in the calendars of the professionals of the sector, whose next edition will be from 21 to 24 October 2010.
