The landscape architecture and sustainability, protagonists in Saver 2008

The sixth edition of the trade fair of machinery and accessories for gardens, forests and green areas, Saver 2008, which will organize Ifema from 9 to 11 October in Madrid, "evolving positively" through the work of promotion and dissemination is carried out between the various professional sectors involved. Currently, more than 60 companies have confirmed their attendance to the Hall representing an area of more than 8,200 square meters reserved so far, exceeding the total of the previous edition. The pavillions 1 and 3 of the Madrid fair will be which accept the wide range of companies specializing in the field of gardening, in the presence of leading firms in industries such as machinery, maintenance of gardens and green areas, landscaping, accessories for hobby and equipment of composting, fences and walls.
The Saver 2008 organizing Committee proposed as lev-motiv in this Edition, the theme of the landscape architecture and sustainability, and the effects of development on the environment. Through workshops, opinion forums and other projects, will discuss these proposals, which come to complement the offerings of events planned throughout 2008, with the aim of reconciling urban growth with respect for the environment.
Landscaping, building sustainability is the title of the first meeting to be held in the framework of the celebration of the Saver Technical Conference. Organized by the Spanish Association of landscape architects (ASP), the meeting will aim show the professional fields in which develops the work of the landscape, with emphasis on the design, management, development and sustainability of spaces both projected in the urban area and rural or forest.
