Elastic cylinder: one, two, or three-lobe
(Good Year) rubber eyecups designed to work as a pneumatic actuators and/or as insulation of vibrations.
As actuators replaced, advantageously, the conventional pneumatic cylinders to be much shorter for a certain career and not have joints or any mobile elements liable to be damaged. On the other hand, they can accept different fluid acting as air, water, nitrogen, etc.
Vibration isolators, and due to its extremely low natural frequencies, they are an effective means to reduce the harmful effects caused by the vibrations.
As a combination of both, to be able to adjust the height of the load, they are able to isolate vibration system under variable load conditions.
The standard range consists of cylinders of one-, two-, or three-lobed, with runs of 50 to 400 mm and with a thrust forces from 2,450 to 64.500 N (to 7 bar inlet pressure).
