Caperuzas Protective flexible: they protect cylindrical external outlines
One of the last incorporations to the standard program of Kapsto of Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG Kunststoffwerk-Werkzeugbau, Lohne / Germany are the caperuzas protective highly flexible GPN 211, designed to protect of efficient and reliable form against damages the delicate external outlines cylindrical of bolts, tubes, hoses, etc. Are manufactured by injection in TPE a thermoplastic elastomer highly elastic, pigmentado in a yellow striking. Therefore, they compensate, because of the nominal diameter, until big tolerances between + 1 mm and +2 mm. As they adapt easily to the outlines of the piece to protect, are ideal, for example, for the application in tubes with together tóricas external, sensitive to the pressesure.
The caperuzas are qualified to hold permanent temperatures until 120 °C and resist to short time temperatures until 150 °C.
These caperuzas protective are available in 17 versions for outlines with external diameters between 4 mm until 26 mm. Usually the length of the caperuza is of 20 mm, in individual cases until 30 mm. The skirt of obturación in the open extreme of the caperuza ensures a firm subjection, avoids the entrance of contaminantes and serves at the same time to keep a true distance between the caperuza and the outline of the piece to protect. The lengüeta designed ergonómicamente, of roughly 15 mm of length, allows a desmontaje fast and without effort.
The standard range of Kapsto, in continuous development and produced by Pöppelmann in his installations comprises, in addition to the caps of protection of connectors GPN 360, more than 3.000 types and/or different measures of elements of protection of plastic, that are available of ex immediate form stock. The special versions, as for example caps that combine functions of sealed and union, can be designed and developed by the own team of engineers of Pöppelmann exactly of agreement to the needs of the customer.
