The company Huppenkothen Baumaschinen founded on 1 April 1956 in Bregenz to banks of the lake of Constanza. Because of a fast expansion moved several times until in 1988 installed definitively in Lauterach near of Bregenz.
In the year of the foundation began with four employees, nowadays the staff of Huppenkothen has more than 80 workers.
Huppenkothen Has in Austria a wide range of machinery of construction and public works and represents to some very renowned manufacturers, between them Takeuchi with his compact excavators.
The Japanese manufacturer Takeuchi considers like the "father of the miniexcavadora and compact excavator".
The gentleman Akio Takeuchi, founder of Takeuchi Co., it began in the year 1971 with the development of the first miniexcavadora and has manufactured until today more than 120.000 units.
In 1979 it began Huppenkothen the commercialisation of the compact excavators.
The miniexcavators Takeuchi have converted since in an all a success of sales.
