Moldflow and Solidworks presented a tool to predict the "manufacturability" of a piece

Moldflow Corporation and SolidWorks Corporation have announced the launch of MoldflowXpress for SolidWorks 2005. Fully integrated with SolidWorks 2005 and based on the technology of Moldflow Plastics Advisers, MoldflowXpress is a tool to introduce in the validation of design of plastic parts that predicts whether a solid 3D model of a piece will be filled based on its geometrythe entry of material, the type of material and the conditions of the process.

The launch of MoldflowXpress introduces the benefits of the analysis of the design directly in the offices of Solidworks users.
