Students of the School of Agricultural Technical Engineering of Madrid visit the installations of Claas

The past day 10 April visited the installations of Claas Iberian, in Meco (Madrid), twenty-nine students and two professors of the School of Agricultural Technical Engineering of Madrid, inside the good relation that Claas is supported by the Polytechnical University of Madrid.

The day of developed two-phase, where in the first part explained the history and origins of the group Claas, the products that commercialise as well as the novelties of products of recolección for the present campaign 2011/2012, doing special upsetting in the presentation of Lexion, series 600/700, with his record world-wide in recolección achieved in the month of September of 2011. It continued with the strategy of Claas in the setting of motors in his machines and tractors, giving to know the concept CPS (Claas Power Systems) between the presents. Also it presented the offer of balers of big bullets in big format with the Quadrant 3300 and 3200 (machines with precámara adjustable from the cabin of the tractor); the new series of rotobalers of fixed camera Rollant 375 and 455, together with his versions Uniwrap (with envolvedora included). It continued with a brief explanation of all the material for the siega, treatment and recolección of forraje, explaining the mowers, hileradores, henificadotas, tow autocargadores and forage choppers Jaguar.

The second part consisted in the technical explanation-commercial of two present products in the installations of Claas by part of the students. It began with the technical description of an empacadora Quadrant 3200 tandem, where three students stood out the provision of the machine as well as the technical advantages of the same. On the other hand, the another machine to develop was a cosechadora Lexion 620, machine of greater complexity that the previous but that other three students also explained with big skill.
