SolidWorks helps a Danish company to reduce the impact of its packaging machines

Ramac has manufactured an organic version of a blisteadora of capacity media, using SolidWorkssoftware. Founders Ramac, Søren Andersen and Jimmy Rose, carefully analyzed the design of your machine's packaging with the SolidWorks SustainabilityXpress software to find material and technical alternative manufacturing that they reduce the impact of the machine on the environment over its useful life. SolidWorks SustainabilityXpress is integrated in SolidWorks 2010 software CAD, which is the platform of Ramac design.
The software helped Andersen and Rose to value all environmental factors to produce the workstation Ramac 525, a semi automatic machine of medium to low which forms and sella blísteres for consumer products and medical use. Intuitive Panel of SolidWorks SustanabilityXpress appears a detailed description of the expected values of design: carbon footprint, the impact on air and in water and energy consumption. It also develops the potential ecological impact throughout the life cycle of a fully designed product.
