The World Conference is an event for the CAD

At the end of January was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, the annual Conference of SolidWorks. An event important and weight in the world of the 3D CAD. For three days, users, engineers, distributors, partners, employees of SolidWorks and others responsible for the company management, both at a technical level shared experiences and views on SolidWorks and presented the main innovations of the 2007 version.

There were also companies related to the hardware, and companies that showed the products that were developed using SolidWorks.

The 2007 version of SolidWorks, is expected to be available for next summer, will offer more than 200 new features. Most notable is the incorporation of a technology called SWIFT (SolidWorks Intelligent Feature Technology). This technology will provide a tool for analysis and management features with problems. SWIFT will assist the user automate the resolution of problems arising from the combination of different features. Furthermore, as novelty will be integrated with SolidWorks benefits related to 3D scanning, is given a physical/real model, once 'captured' the shapes and geometry of the physical model, shall be the model in 3D in the system, so that users can work with itusing the various functions and operations of SolidWorks. On the other hand, COSMOS Motion will be included in basic benefits. There will also be other improvements which are related to the reduction by 50% of the size of the files; with annotations in levels, and using the PDF in 3D.
