The German federal chancellor Angela Merkel visited the stand of Beckhoff in the Fair of Hanóver

The federal chancellor German also was accompanied by Johanna Wanka, federal minister of education and investigation, Stephan Weil, prime minister of Drop Sajonia, as well as by other 50 invited and almost 100 journalists. Hans Beckhoff welcomed this big delegation beside some 200 employees. After a brief presentation of the company and by means of the example of a PC embebido and a ‘extend Transport System' (XTS), explained the components of the technician of control and accionamiento of Beckhoff. With this technician, the company of automation offers basic technologies for the ‘integrated Industry', the lemma of the fair of Hanóver. Beckhoff Tackled the subject in the stand of the fair in the special forum ‘Industry 4.0' and there shows that, with the control based in PC, at present already has of the basic technologies, as well as the basic functions and the services for the ‘Smart Factory'.

To finalise his presentation, the manager of Beckhoff informed on the state of the project of investigation 'ScAut', that was distinguished in 2012 by the Federal Ministry German of Education and Investigation (BMBF) like pioneering group in the network of technologies it's OWL (intelligent technical Systems OstWestfalenLippe). Beckhoff, like leader of the consortium, investigates with ScAut the integration of the discoveries of the sciences of the engineering of the most diverse technical disciplines in the technician of automation to increase the intelligence of the technical systems.
