Segula Systems introduces the new Solidworks 2006 software

segula systems presented on October 4, in the Novotel Hotel in Sant Joan Despí, the new SolidWorks 2006 version, which sets a new standard in performance and power for the 3D mechanical design.

The presentation was Emma Moro, Technical Manager of SolidWorks in Segula Systems and counted with the presence of Oscar Torres, SolidWorks Corporation responsible for Spain and Portugal. Torres explained the position of leadership that has SolidWorks in the sector, showing example of clients logo in different sectors such as Michelin, ecotechnie Chair, SantaCole, Leciñena, Stee Lauder and L'Oreal among others.

The software includes more than 200 improvements requested by customers and significant innovations that open up new paths in the effectiveness of engineering.

SolidWorks 2006 includes a number of improvements that simplify, accelerate and integrate the work of design engineering, among which are:

-An exponential increase in performance.

-New tools that improve the productivity of the users as the "intelligent components".

-New features for sectors for: designers of machines, metal plates and consumables.

-New functions for the validation of General design sophisticated analysis that put in the hands of designers

-Innovations that significantly facilitate the migration of the design in 2D to 3D, 3D Drawing View and Design Checker, as well as improvements in the series DWG (Editor, Gateway, Viewer)

-Improvements in SolidWorks Office Premium which allow design engineers to work in the range of its activities.
