Calibration services: the bevel Rotator head incorporates automatic calibration

Picture of Calibration services
The ACTG self-calibration system, provides greater accuracy for continuous operation, both vertical as the bevel cut. The calibration system is an intelligent solution that detects and compensates for the inaccuracies of geometry that can arise during collisions, or other external manipulations with the torch.

The ITH solution that Seeger has developed, makes bevel cutting to gain greater efficiency and reliability. The problem in stands of beveled torches, which are occasionally unable to return to the correct position after a collision, and also the procedures that have to be carried out for the fixation of the torch in its optimal position after the accidental collision of the rotator is difficult to adjust. To fix this, Seeger has developed an innovative method, a calibration system that automatically measures the deviations by comparing them to the correct position of the torch and adjusts the movement of the machine by means of the software, so that the tip of the torch still moves correctly despite their real displacement in support. The system consists of a probe in the torch into a ball, a station of calibration in the end of the machine, and the corresponding control software. The patent-pending ITH is capable of detecting even small deviations from the position of the torch (for example, if the torch glides over the surface of the material in the case of large bevel angles) with integrated function of IHS.
