Fepex Organised the Spanish participation in the Fair IPM of Essen, that increased 11%

The companies participants have valued as very positive the results of his participation in the fair IPM of Essen, the most important of the world in the sector of ornamental plant. Germany is besides one of the main destinations of the Spanish exports, which have grown strongly in the last years. The export of plant of outside to this country has increased in more than 110% in the last five years, happening of 6,1 millions in the year 2007 to more than 13 millions in the year 2011. In 2010 the Spanish export of alive plant to Germany situated in 21 million euros, in front of the 15 million euros in 2009.
In 2011, and according to the last corresponding up to date data to the month of November, the export situated in 19 million euros, of which 12,5 millions corresponded to plant of outside and 4,1 millions to plant of interior. The Spanish total export of flowers and alive plants until November of 2011 has grown 4% in regard to the same period of 2010, situating in 214 million euros. Of this quantity, 179,5 million euros have corresponded to exports of alive plant (+4%) and 25,4 millions to flower cut (+10%), according to the data of the General Steering of Customs, processed by FEPEX.
