“The characteristic that differentiates to NovaTec Flow of the rest of fertilizantes liquid is the inclusion of the designated 'Technology Net'. Like this then , to understand the evolution that has experienced this family of fertilizantes liquid, is necessary to trace back to the origin: the discovery of the 'Technology Net' that, according to Muñoz-War, reduces the losses of nitrogen by leaching generating a greater efficiency, between a 15 and 25% more. The application of NovaTec Flow makes possible that the plant assimilate a mix of nitrate and ammonium that besides improves important nutritional appearances. For example, a greater absorption of phosphorus and micronutrientes, because of the acidification of the rizosfera, that besides improves the development radicular; energetic saving in the plant by the partial use of the nitrogen in shape of ammonium; an improvement of the cuajado in fruit and vegetables because of a greater biosíntesis of citoquininas (fitohormonas) beside a greater availability of power, and finally, a reduction of the accumulation of nitrates in plant that besides diminishes the presence of oxalatos and can increase the one of antioxidants like the vitamin C or the licopeno. “All this improves the alimentary quality of the vegetal products”, puntualiza the spokesman of Compo Expert.
A project can be adapted to all kinds of producers and farms
15 years ago that the chemical multinational BASF developed the 'Technology Net' for fertilizantes granulated, for crops extensivos, although in the last 3-4 years, the company Compo has known to incorporate it to the fertilizantes soluble and liquids. In a principle, and under the name of NovaTec Solub, this technology entered in fertilisers soluble, focused to fertirrigación for intensive crops. Nowadays, this range of products has a quota of important market inside the sector of the fertilizantes special, experiencing a positive and continuous path in this field. At the same time, already it gave gone back to the idea to incorporate this technical innovation to the range of fertilizantes liquid. Like this it was cream Nova Tec Flow, although in a small way and to a lower number of formulas. “Once observed the success of this technology, decided , recently more than a year, develop a project on a large scale to update the family NovaTec Flow as a range of fertilizantes liquid of reference and high technology”,ensures Muñoz-War. The format is the fundamental difference between NovaTec Solub and NovaTec Flow, since both have the ´Technology Net', as well as all the profits associated to the same. In his format of fertilizante liquid, NovaTec Flow results much more comfortable for the producer. Besides, it produces in four factories for Spain and Portugal, commercialises in more than 30 formulas and in a smart “format to use”, explains the spokesman of of Investigation and Technical Development of Compo Expert. “All this, reduces the hand-held costs of work in the appearances related with the fertilisation. These advantages contribute to that NovaTec Flow was, especially attractor trucks, for the big fincas where value costs and efficiency in all the tasks” recognises.
With the project, is generalized the use of the 'Net technology', covering a larger number of producers and typologies of holdings. "For Compo, this project has been defined in a precise way, formulas most proper according to cultures, times of the year and growing areas;" "in addition to working in all the productive and logistical aspects associated with this type of fertilizer". To date, four factories that produce NovaTec Fluid for Spain and Portugal guarantee a supply of these formulas at any point in the country, as well as a competitive cost compared to conventional fertilizers. It is therefore a technology whose effects have been studied, tested, and published in dozens of studies official and independent in centres such as the Higher Council of scientific research (CSIC), the University of Cordoba, the Polytechnical University of Valencia and MadridExtremadura agri-food technology centre (CTAEX) and the IFAPA of the Junta de Andalucía of Almería and Mengibar.
Through this project, Compo offers virtually custom liquid fertilizers.
Nitric fertilizers have associated both environmental problems (losses by leaching or denitrification) of health for human consumption and animal, due to the accumulation of nitrates in certain vegetables products (Lamsfus and cabbage, 2003). In these circumstances, it is interesting to evaluate the ammonium as alternative source of nitrogen for crop. Its use is particularly positive in systems of reduced contribution of fertilizers, such as integrated production or that they develop in areas vulnerable to pollution by nitrates, as well as crops consumed by its leaves, where the nitrate is more prone to accumulate. Nitrification inhibitors slow the transformation of the ammonium nitrate allowing that the plant has two forms of nitrogen to meet their nutritional requirements (Zerulla and cabbage, 2001). As a form of nitrogen, ammonium is interesting by being much less sensitive to that nitrate leaching losses and therefore provide greater efficiency in the use of nitrogen (methodology that ensures a joint nutrition ammonium / nitrate for the plant).
The NovaTec Fluid range contains a nitrification inhibitor. This molecule inhibits bacteria present in the soil nitrosomonas, responsible for the transformation of the ammoniacal nitrogen in nitric.Thus, prevents only the formation of nitrate, ensuring the permanence of the nitrogen in the soil in ammoniac form for a time, decreasing the risk of nitrate leaching and nitrogen mixed nutrition crops to benefit (ammonium and nitrate). The optimal performance of crops, because that ensures the availability of the nitrogen in two absorbable forms by the plant (nitrate and ammonium), it should be noted energy savings that will be used in other functions to increase production. For example, a greater flowering as the absorption of ammonium promotes the synthesis of (giberalinas and cytokinins) phytohormones and polyamines, responsible for it and a higher absorption of microelements and phosphorus because ammoniacal nutrition produces a drop in pH that stimulates the absorption of microelements and phosphorus. Also a better crop, to obtain more uniform fruit and of greater caliber, as seen in various trials carried out in official centers of research (IVIA, IRTA, CIFACITA…).
