The perfect House
May 9, 2011
One of the great attractions of the company in the trade fair ISH 2011 were its energy-efficient systems for a comfortable and healthy indoor environment. To this end, the company has - radiators-ventilation grilles, compact tickets air, energy central air ducts with sound insulation, under floor convectors, distribution boxes and pipes for geothermal.
"The only sustainable energy is that is not being spent." These terms expressed José Ramón Ferrer, director-general in Spain of Zehnder and Runtal, in reference to a new concept for the conditioning of the home. Passive House, a system is "very implanted in countries such as Germany or Switzerland, where even, depending on the areas, it is compulsory", and that the company tries to introduce into Spain. "If we seriously heat coming out to the outside through the Windows of our House with a thermographic camera, alucinaríamos", says Ferrer.
This system, explains, in addition to maintaining the stays at an ideal temperature, would avoid the effects of the 'sick building syndrome', responsible for a large number of diseases caused by indoor air pollution.
One of the keys needed to achieve a Passive House, points director of Zehnder and Runtal, is to provide the House's Windows and doors that her "close tightly". The system is responsible for renewing the air, filter it and warm it. To keep the heat of the interior must not open Windows or doors. Thanks to a good filtration system, "get a healthier air in the House if we do not open Windows to ventilate", he says.
Global solutions
The company is not limited to "selling loose units", but it provides everything you need. "We offer global solutions", says Ferrer. To heat the House, the company has a team which takes air from the outside, and which is capable of transforming the temperature from 0 to 19 degrees. The equipment that runs 24 hours a day without interruption, consumes only 60 kW, i.e. "as a light bulb". But to create a comfortable atmosphere in the interior even they would be needed 2 or 3 degrees more. For this reason, the company also supplies a 2 kW heat pump. "In Spain, most of the boilers for flats or apartments are 24 kW," adds thereon Ferrer. Once inside, the air circulates manufactured tubes in food quality plastic that "not accumulates dust".
With the complete system that the company showed at the trade fair ISH 2011, "housing could happen to pay 400 to 80 euros".
Radiator Zehnder

The sculpture turns into radiator
Runtal showed at the fair one of the stars of his Arteplano series: models encouraged, designed by the Italian sculptor Andrea Zanotti.
