Zehnder Participates in Solar Decathlon Europe 2012

In the previous edition two of the houses included in the section of ventilation the systems of Zehnder Confosystems. In concrete the house proposed by the University of Rosenheim presented the system Zehnder Confosystems, winning the first place in the section of installations and the second of the general classification.

By this reason Zehnder has been invited to realise the installations ‘Indoor Climate' of the Institutional Headquarters that the Polytechnical University of Madrid has in the campus like reception of authorities.

Zehnder Has installed in this building so much the system of ventilation of confort with recovery of heat Zehnder Confosystems like the system of air conditioning radiant Zehnder Nestsystems, contributing to the building our values of health, confort and energetic efficiency. The next day 27 September Zehnder will give a conference in the enclosure showing the reality of these installations.

The idea of the Solar Decathlon arose of the Department of Power of United States, where llevar for the first time in 2002. The concept has been now moved to Europe and presents like a competition of houses prototipoideadas by distinct universities. These houses are thought to cover his energetic needs exclusively with power solar. It will win the competition the one who consummates lower quantity of natural resources and produce the lower quantity of waste during his cycle of life.
