System to measure temperature and humidity: in the environingingment and in processes
The company Testo develops Saveris, a new system that allows to measure the values of temperature and humidity in the environingingment and in processes. It treats of a very simple “product to use” that, thanks to the automatic register of the data of measurement, provides “hygiene and saving of time to the user”.
The system is appropriate for the monitoring and the documentation of temperature and humidity in production, management of the quality and R&D, as well as in buildings for the monitoring of the conditions acclimatise in the storage of sensitive products to the humidity and the temperature as in inventories valuosos (museums, rooms of computers), medicines or foods. Also it is useful for the monitoring of the chain of cold.
The wireless probes of Saveris measure the temperature and the humidity. During the cycle of measurement, the probes memorise the data and transmit them to the at intervals regular base, however, when it exceeds a value limit, the probe establishes contact immediately. Thanks to the bisteeringal transmission, the base and the probe are in mutual contact, what ensures that there are not interferences with other systems and that the data of measurement only register in the correct base. In case of interruption in the communication via radius, shoots an alarm and the memory of the probe follows registering the data to avoid that they lose . The memory keeps in operation during long thanks to the design optimised of the battery. The scope of transmission in free field arrives until the 300 metres to a frequency of 868 MHz and roughly 100 metres to a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
