The great challenge for the sector of digital communication is still to achieve the highest degree of perfection in the details. To this end, professionals require high levels of reliability and accuracy of the color which, in turn, require a high degree of control of the whole process of production. These and other demands, as for digital image quality is concerned, are placed at the top of the priorities of Epson in the time to develop their multiple tools and solutions.
Good proof of this are the two great innovations of the company at Graphispag Digital 2009, especially indicated for prepress work, as well as artistic and photographic applications: the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and Epson Stylus Pro 9900 models.
The Epson Stylus Pro 7900 (24 ") and Stylus Pro 9900 (44") reached the maximum range of color with its 11 UltraChrome HDR inks, which add orange and green to 4 black systems K3 inks. These large format professional printers are appropriate for the creation of evidence of contract aimed at communication (editorial work, packaging, printing and advertising), as well as photographic and artistic applications of the highest quality, thanks to its new high performance printing mechanism. Also, both models have the optional calibration system Epson SpectroProofer, which allows using the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and Epson Stylus Pro 9900 models as effective solutions to carry out remote tests, "ensuring maximum control without having to be present during the production process".

In terms of performance, it has been optimized thanks to the doubling of the number of injectors and processing speed, allowing to reach the 40 square metres per hour.
