Fruit Attraction 2012 has 27% more than space hired that does a year

The contracting of space by part of the display units for Fruit Attraction 2012, the International Fair of fruit and vegetables, that will celebrate of the 24 to 26 October, in Madrid, has increased 27% in regard to the same dates of the past year and 20% in regard to the total space of the edition of 201. Percentages that reflect some excellent perspectives of participation and growth, as it ascertained in the meeting of the Committee Organiser, celebrated the past 23 April, and in the meeting of election of space, that concluded the past 24 April.

Stops Fepex and Ifema, organisers of Fruit Attraction, the behaviour of the contracting until the moment, increasing 27% in regard to the same dates of the past year, puts in evidence the need of the realisation of this project, that this year celebrates his IV edition. Likewise, the good perspectives confirm that, in spite of the economic crisis that also is affecting to the producing activity and trading company of fruit and vegetables, the sector trusts Fruit Attraction like tool to promote his business.

The IV edition of Fruit Attraction will receive Grape Attraction, the world-wide forum of grape without seed. This meeting, that celebrated his first edition in the frame of Fruit Attraction 2010, will organise his second edition this year and will gather to a wide representation of the production, investigation and commercialisation of this type of pertinent grape of all the world, from United States, South Africa, Chile, Israel and Peru, amongst other.

Also will celebrate the Simposium International on plum and cherry, that will organise the Upper Polytechnical School of Orihuela (Alicante) of the University Miguel Hernández of Elche (UMH). It will summon also a day on logistics and another on the sector of fruit and vegetables in the frame of the Agricultural Politics Comunitaria.

Regarding the parallel activities for promocionar the consumption of fruit and vegetables, these will develop in the section Fruit Fusion and will give continuity to activities initiated in previous years like the II National Prize to the Best Vegetal Dish of the year, a competition that selects, of between several restaurants of Spain, the most exquisite recipe elaborated with products hortofrutícolas. Also it will celebrate the Contest of Cut or the Week of the Vegetables, between others.
