Rail Solutions, a key shop window for the Spanish rail technology

The Spanish Rail Association (Mafex), in collaboration with Icex-Spain Export and Investments, puts course these days to the Asian market to promote the Spanish exports and give to know the high technological capacity of his rail industry. With this aim, the Association participates, of the 7 to 9 May, in the fair Rail Solutions Asia 2014 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) where has a stand informative and coordinates the participation grouped of several Spanish companies.

The presence of Mafex in this rail meeting, considered the one of greater importance of the sector in Asia, produces in a moment strategic of the bilateral relations with Malaysia, after the recent Reverse Days on the Sudeste Asian, organised also by Mafex with the support of the Icex, the past month of March of 2014.

Rail Solution Asia 2014 gathers in Kuala Lumpur to the main agents and representatives of administrations and institutions of the rail field of Asia, as well as to delegates and professional of all the world.

Between the emergent countries that more invest in these moments in infrastructures of transport finds Malaysia. The Executive has set up a rail program that includes performances like the splitting and electrificación of road of lines of the coast West of the country, the ramal North-South. To them they join the greater plans of enlargement and modernisation of the railway industrys in Kuala Lumpur. In the capital of Malaysia, exists a 'Master Plan', endowed with 12.000 million euros, for the construction of three new lines of light metre (Mass Rapid Transit) in the region of the Valley of the Klang, the increase of the park of trains for the network of vicinities (KTM Commuter), as well as the monorraíl of the city Putrajaya, to 25 kilometres of the city. The authorities of transport study, besides, the possible construction of a line of high speed between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
