Fruit Attraction, an action that strengthens the sector of the fruit and vegetables

The minister of Economy and Competitiveness, Luis of Guindos, and of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment, Miguel Arias Cañete, presented the past 20 May a document that collects the “Strategic Lines for the Internationalisation of the Sector Agroalimentario”, in which it includes to Fruit Attraction as one of the actions proposed to strengthen and improve the sector of fruit and vegetables.

Said publication does the specific quotation to "reinforce Fruit Attraction, with the promotion of said fair in the zones of production where still exists a wide potential of growth and with his external promotion through the Councils of Agriculture of the Spanish embassies in the outside”.

With the end to devote efforts to improve the internationalisation of the sector agroalimentario, constituted does some months the Group of Work for the Internationalisation of the Sector Agroalimentario (GTISA), chaired by the General Office of Agriculture and Feeding. From then, it has of an instrument of coordination interministerial in which they can establish common strategies to advance in this sense, and have of an only forum that allow to offer solutions to the companies that want to consolidate his international presence.

In this report, elaborated by the Group of Work, have taken part representatives of the minister of Economy and Competitiveness, and of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment, in addition to the sectorial organisations more representative of the sector agroalimentario, between them Fepex that, together with Ifema, coorganiza Fruit Attraction, International Fair of the Sector of Fruit and Vegetables, that will celebrate of the 16 to 18 October in the pavilions 5, 7 and 9 of the Fair of Madrid.
