Fira Of Barcelona purchases to Reed Exhibitions 50% of the society organiser of Alimentary

Fira Of Barcelona has purchased to Reed Exhibitions 50% of the capital that had in Alimentary Exhibitions, the joint venture that both entities created in the year 2002 to organise, among others, the Alimentary living room. Likewise, according to the agreement reached, Fira and Reed will work jointly to reinforce the international projection of the living room by means of the planned organisation of editions in several countries.

Therefore, the agreement by which Fira turns into the only owner of Almentaria Exhibitions does not suppose the end of the relations between this society and Reed Exhibitions but it contemplates to reinforce the alliance to improve the presence of the contest in the outside, mainly in the geographic areas where already operates the English multinational like Asia, Latin America and Middle East.

Alimentary Exhibitions will follow operating like skilled society in the organisation of fairs of the alimentary sector, like BTA–Barcelona Technologies of the Feeding–, Alimentary & Horexpo Lisbon and Seafood, in addition to Alimentary, living room concerning European level that will continue giving support to the sector and to the Spanish companies.
