Presentación
The Association of producers-exporters of fruit and vegetables of the region of Murcia (Proexport), established in 1975, brings together 53 groups of enterprise and cooperative leaders in the export of fruit and vegetables in the Region of Murcia. Proexport partners sold about one million tons of tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cantaloupe and other vegetables, providing direct employment to more than 30,000 workers. Proexport concentrates more than 70% of the total production and regional export of the products mentioned, making it the regional economy thrust engine.
The Association has as basic objective the defence of the profitability of the productions of its associated companies, and for this purpose is actively involved in the modernization of the legal framework, both agricultural structures of production and marketing sector.
Proexport facilitates adaptation to change and innovation of the business structures of our sector, and therefore is a transmission belt of innovations in business management and its application in practice. To this end, the Association serves the needs of information and counselling of managers and staff of enterprises with responsibility for management through specific programmes.
