Presentación
On 1 July 1993 it created the company Eurobanan Canarian by means of a joint venture between Coplaca and Fyffes. Two years later, in 1995, Angel Rey, S.A. associates to form what nowadays is known commercially like Group Eurobanan, company consolidated in the sector of the fruit and vegetable distribution in Spain, with some upper sales to 340 million euros in the year 2010.
They have 12 centres of distribution that provide coverage to all the national and Portuguese territory.
More than 500 professionals work to offer the best service, supplying to his customers all type of fruit and cool vegetables during all the year and thanks to his effective logistical are able to adapt to the specific requests of each one of his customers.
In Group Eurobanan devote to the activities related with the production, export, import, packaging, packed, manufacturación, distribution, selection and in definite commercialisation of products hortofrutícolas frescos.
With a dedication and delivery, to his sector, from the year 1918.
They are pioneering in the import and introduction of fruit no produced in Spain, as for example:
- Pear Passacrassana of Italy in the 50.
- Tropical pineapple of Ivory Coast and Cameroon in the 60.
- Endives of Belgium in the 70.
- Promotions and tastings in the point of sale from the 70 until today day.
- Vegetables and salads out of season of Holland and France in the 80.
Mangos, sleeves and other tropical and exotic fruit around the middle of the 90.
- Fruit of South Africa of "contraestación" from 1992.
- Papaya and Papayón also in the years 90.
