This year, the trade event will feature more than 1.200 exhibitors coming from 50 countries, and it expects to receive around 22.500 trade visitors from around the world. Taking place from 20th to 23th September at the Colog- ne Exhibition Center (Cologne, Germany), Kind + Jugend will become one of the most important events within the global babycare sector once again. The global trade fair wants to encourage both visitors (specialist retailers, re- tailers, toy specialists, importers, wholesalers, purcha- sing associations…) and exhibitors (different kind of child products manufacturers) in order to create a space where they can find the most important trends and innovations of the babycare products business. In its last edition, more than 22.500 trade visitors from 113 countries attended the show floor, which featured an amount of 1.232 companies from 50 countries presenting their products. As always, it offered a complete panora- mic view of the main trends that are leading the childcare products industry, and let the visitors meet with the last news in categories such as furniture, fashion, car safety, strollers, feeding or hygiene, among others. In addition, the 2018 edition will count with all formats of the supporting program, such as conferences, the inno- vation area and the designers’ presentations, focused on trends. Accordingly, the event established the Innovation Award “due to the high dedication of the baby and toddler outfitting industry and its innovations”. This award elects the most inventive product developments on the first day of the trade date. Kind + Jugend: for visitors and exhibitors Attending the Kind + Jugend trade fair provides its visitors a complete overview of the marketing for baby and toddler outfitting, from baby toys to high quality children’s furniture. It is also a good option because, according the organization, all leading international ma- nufacturers are on location.
