BAKING MAINTAINS ITS RISE The baking utensils sector has opted for diversification in product ranges, which are now not just used to make tarts or cakes. Moulds for creating sweets are being introduced with some success, a range that more and more companies are adding. However, we are also seeing proposals for preparing cakes and pastries such as cupcakes and muffins, doughnuts and waffles. All of this is reflected in the growth in home-baking and clearly shown in the kitchenware lines in shops and in catalogues from the main hardware chains. WINE CONTINUES TO MOTIVATE SALES IN UTENSILS With an extensive supply to suit all tastes and pockets, the wine utensil sector is one of the most dynamic in the kitchenware market. The companies, many specialising in this product, never stop researching and innovating. Currently many of the innovations are focused on bags, sleeves and covers for cooling. CLOTHES HORSES WITH MORE ADDED VALUE Increasing or maintaining the capacity for hanging out washing but using less space: this is the great challenge for new clothes horse models that have extendable parts and wings that fold independently, in order to adapt to the needs of each family at all times. Far from being a nuisance that takes up space, clothes horses want to become great aids when organising the home.
