La planta se está construyendo para NextPower III ESG (“NPIII ESG”), el fondo solar privado internacional administrado por NextEnergy Capital. Electricidad limpia para más de 22.000 personas Palmela estará compuesta por 74.124 módulos fotovoltaicos y cinco centros de transformación de 6,5 MVA de potencia. Suministrará electricidad limpia a más de 22.000 personas; y evitarán la emisión de aproximadamente 28.500 t de CO2 a la atmósfera. Es el segundo proyecto que Eiffage Energía Sistemas construye para NEC, tras ejecutar con éxito la planta fotovoltaica Paderne, de 17 MW, ubicada en las afueras de Lisboa, Portugal. Se trata de un proyecto realizado en UTE con JJTomé, empresa del Grupo Eiffage que se encarga de la línea de evacuación de alta tensión y la subestación elevadora. La planta fotovoltaica Paderne ocupa una superficie de 20 hm3, con tres centros de transformación de 5,07MVA y 38.892módulos fotovoltaicos; evitará 7.500 toneladas de CO2 anuales a la atmósfera; y dotará de energía limpia a unas 9.000 personas. Durante su construcción, se generó empleo directo para unas 60 personas. Además, Eiffage Energía Sistemas ha desarrollado varias actuaciones medioambientales, entre las que destacan la reubicación de 150 olivos como pantalla vegetal y 12 alfarrobas para la integraciónpaisajística; o la habilitación de zonas verdes para alimentación de fauna de la zona. Experiencia de Eiffage Energía Sistemas en Portugal La experiencia de Eiffage Energía Sistemas en Portugal, se remonta a 2008, con la construcción en EPC de Amareleja, el primer proyecto internacional de la compañía. En esos momentos, fue la planta solar más grande de Europa con una capacidad de 46 MW de potencia. Central Hidroeléctrica de Gouvaes Aparte de estos proyectos de energía fotovoltaica, también en Portugal, Eiffage Energía Sistemas construyó la línea subterránea de 400 kV de la central hidroeléctrica de Gouvaes, en el río Tâmega, en Portugal, integrada por cuatro grupos de 400 kW; una caverna de transformadores de 80 m de longitud; y un pozo vertical, con una altura máxima de 300 m y 7 m de diámetro. Los trabajos consistieron en la colocación de los herrajes en galería, pozo y caverna de trasformadores; tendido de cables de puesta a tierra; y tendido del cable subterráneo de potencia de cuatro circuitos de 400 kV. This is a project executed in a joint venture with JJTomé, an Eiffage Group company that is responsible for the HV power transmission line and booster substation. The Paderne PV plant covers an area of 20 hm3, with three 5.07 MVA transformer stations and 38,892 PV modules; it will avoid emitting 7,500 tonnes of CO2 per year into the atmosphere; and deliver clean energy to some 9,000 people. Direct employment was created for about 60 people during its construction. In addition, Eiffage Energía Sistemas has implemented several environmental actions, which particularly include relocating 150 olive trees as a natural screen and 12 carob trees for integration into the landscape; as well as the creation of green spaces to provide the local fauna with food. Eiffage Energía Sistemas’s experience in Portugal The company’s experience in Portugal dates back to 2008, with the EPC construction of Amareleja, its first international project. With an output of 46 MW, it was Europe’s largest solar plant at that time. Gouvaes hydroelectric plant In addition to these PV energy projects, Eiffage Energía Sistemas built the underground 400 kV line of the Gouvaes hydroelectric plant, on the Tamega river in Portugal, comprising four 400 kW gensets; an underground transformer hall 80-metres long; and a 7-metre diameter vertical shaft measuring up to 300 metres. The works comprised positioning the ironwork in the shaft and underground transformer hall; laying the earthing cables; and laying the 4-circuit 400 kV underground power cable.
