Audax Renovables fue fundada en el año 2000 como la primera compañía independiente, que cotiza en la bolsa española, y dedicada exclusivamente al desarrollo de energías renovables, fundamentalmente eólica. Audax Renovables es resultado de la fusión, en 2018, entre la propia Audax Renovables y su matriz, Audax Energía, dando lugar a un grupo energético cuyas actividades se centran en el suministro de electricidad y gas, así como en la producción de energía 100% renovable. El grupo opera en dos actividades de negocio diferenciadas: comercialización y generación. En su división de comercialización de electricidad y gas, está presente en España, Portugal, Italia, Alemania, Polonia y Holanda. Por otro lado, la división de generación eólica gestiona una cartera total en explotación de 91 MW en España, Francia y Polonia. Además, cuenta con un proyecto eólico en construcción en Panamá de 66 MW y plantas fotovoltaicas en promoción por 320 MW en España. La cartera de Audax está formada actualmente por parques actualmente en funcionamiento, o listos para construir, financiados con deuda bancaria sin recurso a la matriz, bajo el esquema de project finance. Sin embargo, en este 2020, Audax ya ha iniciado la construcción de varios proyectos fotovoltaicos sin recurrir a deuda bancaria, haciendo uso en esos casos de sus propios recursos. Entre sus filiales con parques en explotación y Audax Renovables existen contratos de gestión técnico-administrativo para la gestión activa de los parques, con los cuales Audax Renovables obtiene ingresos mensuales recurrentes. Adicionalmente, Audax Renovables obtiene con carácter anual ingresos de los parques en explotación vía dividendos, intereses y principal de deuda subordinada. Audax Renovables was founded in 2000 as the first independent, company to be quoted on the Spanish stock exchange exclusively dedicated to the development of renewables, essentially wind power. Audax Renovables is the result of the 2018 merger between Audax Renovables itself and its parent company, Audax Energía, leading to the creation of an energy group whose activities focus on the supply of electricity and gas, as well as the production of 100% renewable energy. The group offers two distinct business activities: commercialisation and generation. Its subsidiaries with wind farms in operation and Audax Renovables have technical-administrative contracts in place for the active management of the farms, from which Audax Renovables obtains recurrent monthly income. In addition, Audax Renovables earns annual revenue from the operating wind farms through dividends, interest and principal on the subordinated debt. Several years on, Audax decided to contract the services of Enercapital to develop PV projects in Spain. Enercapital is currently developing about 60% of Audax’s portfolio. The Recas project The project comprises a 50 MW solar PV installation in the municipal district of Recas, Toledo. The total surface area of this project amounts to 135 hectares of dry land favourable for the installation of singleaxis solar trackers thanks to its slope of less than 5%. Project connection is situated less than 1 km from a 132 kV line. DESARROLLO INTEGRAL DE PROYECTOS RENOVABLES.
