Deciding on the type of installation This is an interconnected selfconsumption installation, comprising 128 modules from a panel manufacturer that is ranked among the leaders of the Tier One listing (a list of PV manufacturers with the highest quality standards that produce and sell the most units). The silicon polycrystalline panels have an output of 280Wp. The specific inverter installed is a 33 kWmodel from the “Pro” family of inverters which incorporates DC protections, making the installation process cost-effective and straightforward. The inverter is additionally equipped with a monitoring and zero export kit which allows the installation to be monitored via the brand’s webpage as well as to connect and disconnect the zero export function depending on the need of the consumer to subscribe to the simplified remuneration system for surplus energy production.
