Todo este trabajo ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración de múltiples actores que intervienen a lo largo de toda la cadena de valor y forman parte del consorcio del proyecto SHIP2FAIR. El Centro de Investigación y Recursos y Consumos Energéticos, CIRCE, es el coordinador del proyecto y trabaja en conjunto con otras compañías estratégicas del sector agroalimentario, expertas en campos como el azúcar, los destilados o la producción de foie-gras. También forman parte de este consorcio instituciones expertas en el diseño y fabricación de tecnologías solares, así como en consultoría, investigación e innovación en este campo. En el proyecto intervienen actores de España, Italia, Francia, Austria, Suiza, Alemania, Portugal y Bélgica, siendo Cooperativas Agroalimentarias de España, Bodegas Roda y CIRCE las entidades nacionales participantes. La puesta en práctica de este sistema basado en la energía solar térmica demuestra el potencial que puede experimentar esta tecnología en bodegas y en otras agroindustrias, en las que el proyecto SHIP2FAIR también está promoviendo su implementación a través de diez estudios de viabilidad que se realizarán entre 2020 y 2021. Extender las soluciones SHIP2FAIR a otros sectores Por ello, el proyecto no acaba en Bodegas Roda y tiene ante sí más de dos años de intenso trabajo. Los próximos objetivos se centran en extender las soluciones desarrolladas por el proyecto a otros sectores dentro de la industria agroalimentaria y a otras instalaciones similares dentro del mismo sector productivo. El potencial de replicación de estas innovaciones es enorme, ya que el 99% de las empresas del sector vitivinícola son pymes y poseen características similares a las de Bodegas Roda. Además, durante el proyecto se van a instalar tres demostradores más en diferentes industrias representativas dentro del sector agroalimentario. Para ayudar a multiplicar los impactos del proyecto, los datos de operación de Thanks to these improvements offered by SHIP2FAIR, Bodegas Roda already benefits from a more sustainable installation, which improves the energy efficiency of the wine making process, as well as storage and ageing, while bringing down expenditure in economic and energy terns. The installation has taken place without impacting on the aesthetics of its architecture, given that the vacuum tubes are situated on the roof of the winery. These tubes generate a high temperature of up to 200 0C. The resultant hot water is used in making the wine, in processes such as fermentation. An absorption chiller has also been incorporated, which uses the water for processes that require cold, such as stabilisation or cooling vats. Similarly, other processes have been identified in which to use this water, such as cleaning pipework, thereby offering much room for flexibility. All this work has been possible thanks to the collaboration of multiple agents who have intervened throughout the entire value chain and form part of the SHIP2FAIR project consortium. CIRCE, the Research Centre for Energy Resources and Consumption, is the project coordinator and is working together with other strategic companies in the agrifood sector, experts in fields such as sugar, spirits and the production of foie gras. Also forming part of this consortium are expert institutions in the design and manufacture of solar technologies, as well as in consultancy, research and innovation in this field. Taking part in the project are agents from Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Portugal and Belgium, with the Spanish Agrifood Cooperatives, Bodegas Roda and CIRCE representing Spain. The launch of this solar thermal power-based system demonstrates the potential that this technology offers wineries and other agroindustries in which the SHIP2FAIR project is also promoting its implementation through ten feasibility studies that will be undertaken between 2020 and 2021. Extending SHIP2FAIR solutions to other sectors This is why this project is not ending at Bodegas Roda but has more than two intensive years’work ahead of it. The next objectives will focus on extending the solutions developed by the project to other sectors within the agrifood industry and to other similar installations within the same productive sector. The potential for replicating these innovations is huge, as 99% of companies in the wine industry are SMEs with features similar to those of Bodegas Roda. In addition, the project includes the installation of three demo systems in different representative industries in the agrifood sector.
