La oportunidad que se abre a una región como Asturias es singular. Con capacidades para desarrollar proyectos e iniciativas que aporten soluciones en todos estos campos, de forma singular o combinada, la movilidad eléctrica debe convertirse en un sector que ayude a la reactivación de la economía regional y facilite una mayor diversificación, tanto económica como energética. Para ello es preciso afrontar retos significativos. Entre ellos está generar un ecosistema propio, en el que se puedan desarrollar las soluciones necesarias para competir en un mercado global. En este camino es básico contar con la cooperación públicoprivada, que en Asturias se canaliza por la Mesa Regional para el Fomento de la Movilidad Eléctrica. En este foro de cooperación, impulsado por la DG de Energía, Minería y Reactivación de la Consejería de Industria, Empleo y Promoción Económica del Gobierno del Principado de Asturias, están presentes las siguientes entidades: Universidad de Oviedo, IDEPA (Instituto de Desarrollo Económico del Principado de Asturias), AEDIVE (Asociación Empresarial para el Desarrollo e Impulso del Vehículo Eléctrico), ASVECAR (Agrupación Asturiana de Vendedores al Por Menor de Carburantes y Combustibles), AUVE (Asociación de Usuarios de Vehículos Eléctricos), CAR (Corporación Asturiana de Transporte), Fundación Fernando Alonso, INELTAS (Asociación Empresarial Instalaciones Eléctricas y Telecomunicaciones Asturias); y empresas como: ABB, Alsa, Asturconsa, EDP, Efibat, Electra Norte, Endesa, Gomez Oviedo, Grupo Baldajos, Grupo Junquera, Grupo Resnova, Iberdrola, Ibil, Isastur, Phoenix Contact, Repsol, Tartiere Auto, Tesla, Viesgo. Es difícil concretar los logros alcanzados en estos últimos años en unas pocas líneas: desarrollo de una red de recarga de acceso público con cobertura regional, que en la actualidad cuenta con 15 puntos rápidos que conectan Asturias de norte a sur y de este a oeste; introducción de vehículos eléctricos en la flota de la administración regional (enchufables en el caso de los adquiridos más recientemente y eléctricos en el caso de la DG de Energía, Minería y Reactivación y de la Fundación Asturiana de Energía, FAEN); realización de actividaThe opportunity that is opening up in a region such as Asturias is unique.With the ability to develop projects and initiatives that offer solutions in all these fields on an individual or combined basis, e-mobility must become a sector that helps reactivate the regional economy and facilitate greater economic and energy diversification. Major challenges must therefore be addressed. These include the creation of an appropriate ecosystem in which the necessary solutions to compete in a global market can be developed. A fundamental part of this process is publicprivate collaboration, which in Asturias is channelled via the Regional Committee for the Promotion of Electric Mobility. Taking part in this collaboration forum, which is promoted by the General Directorate for Energy, Mining and Reactivation of the Ministry for Industry, Employment and Economic Development of the Asturias Government, are the following entities: the Universidad de Oviedo, IEDEPA (the Asturias Institute for Economic Development), AEDIVE (Spanish Business Association for Promoting and Developing the Electric Vehicle Market), ASVECAR (the Asturias Association of Retail Sellers of Motor and Heating Fuel), AUVE (Association of Electric Vehicle Users), CAR (Asturias Transport Corporation), the Fernando Alonso Foundation, INELTAS (the Asturias Business Association of Electrical and Telecommunications Installations); alongside companies including: ABB, Alsa, Asturconsa, EDP, Efibat, Electra Norte, Endesa, Gomez Oviedo, Grupo Baldajos, Grupo Junquera, Grupo Resnova, Iberdrola, Ibil, Isastur, Phoenix Contact, Repsol, Tartiere Auto, Tesla and Viesgo. Summarising the achievements made in recent years into a few lines is no easy task. These include: the deployment of a public access charging network with regional coverage, which currently comprises 15 fast charging points connecting Asturias from north to south and from east to west; the incorporation of EVs into the regional government’s fleet (plug-ins in the case of the most recent acquisitions and pure electric vehicles in the case of the General Directorate of Energy, Mining and Reactivation and the FAEN, the Asturias Energy Foundation); undertaking widespread dissemination activities: mobile events to share experiences with vehicle owners, promoting and taking part in competitions; the organisation of one-off events, in particular in the last two years alone, theWorld Conference on Smart Destinations and the I Ultra-Fast Charging Systems Conference; the publication of a book entitled “E-mobility as a model for change”; and support for the installation of linked semi-fast and fast charging points thanks to Regional Government subsidies and in 2018, the MOVES regional programme.
